Paul McNamara
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The Sente Group

Mr. McNamara has spent the last decade helping market leaders in Defense Electronics and Telecommunications Equipment dramatically improve business performance in their test environments. His work with companies such as Motorola, General Dynamics and Freescale Semiconductor has helped those organizations achieve order of magnitude improvements in test-related cost and cycle time, while shifting unproductive cultural barriers along the way.

Prior to founding The Sente Group, Mr. McNamara was a vice president for GE Capital’s Technology Management Services (TMS) division. He played a leadership role in GE Capital’s exploration of an outsourced test equipment asset management service offering. His insights during this investigation led ultimately to his commitment to the development and commercialization of a series of innovations in the years since Sente’s founding in 1997.

Mr. McNamara has authored a host of white papers on driving breakthrough business performance in the test environment, and has been a featured speaker at numerous industry and professional association conferences. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University, and successfully completed advanced management studies at GE’s John F. Welch Leadership Development Institute. For more than twelve years, he has studied business leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation and the accumulation of power with The Aji Network in Santa Clara, California. He is a native of Stoughton, MA, who currently resides in Duluth, GA with his wife, Pattie, and four children.
