New roles allow firm to build upon technologies and practices for greater customer success
ATLANTA – Award-winning test resource management firm, The Sente Group, announced changes to its leadership team as it prepares for expanded growth and seeks to continue producing high levels of customer satisfaction and unmatched performance through its proven Test Resource Management™ (TRM) solution suite.
Former Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jim McNamara has assumed the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and industry veteran Kathy Boyd has joined the firm as COO. These changes support Sente’s tradition of innovative leadership and continuous improvement of its successful practices and tools, challenging how people manage their test environments.
“These changes are a direct result of both our customers’ and the industry’s recognition of the significant results Sente’s offer allows companies to achieve,” said Paul McNamara, founder and CEO of The Sente Group. “As a recognized leader in the test resource management market, Sente aims to enhance our practices and tools to more effectively help customers achieve increased capital utilization and productivity results, which translate to significantly improved financial performance across the enterprise.”
As CTO, Jim McNamara will be responsible for the development and commercialization of Sente’s TRM practices, tools, capability models and implementation methodologies to facilitate lasting behavioral changes within customer organizations. With more than 20 years of experience managing technology and operational teams, Jim is uniquely qualified to lead the firm’s technology development efforts.
“At Sente, our concept of design centers on how people currently work and anticipates how they will need to work in the future to meet competitive pressures in the marketplace,” said Jim McNamara. “Our goal is to provide people with capabilities that amplify their capacity to do their jobs, while producing a competitive advantage for their business.”
As COO, Kathy Boyd, who has held various executive roles at technical services companies including Hewlett Packard, Acterna, Sypris Test and Measurement, Tektronix and EADS North America Test and Services, will be responsible for execution of Sente’s TRM practices, ensuring continued customer satisfaction.
“With continued budgetary and operational challenges facing companies today, Sente’s solution offers companies the opportunity to significantly improve their asset utilization, while meeting customer commitments at an overall reduced cost,” said Kathy Boyd. “The opportunity to partner with customers to produce not only unprecedented, consistent financial outcomes, but also to transform operational results is significant and timely.
